Ryanair – How can I reserve a seat?

It is possible to reserve a seat with Ryanair directly after making your booking. The cost of a seat reservation varies per flight. You can reserve a seat by following these steps:

1. Go to the Ryanair website
2. Log in:
   • Do you already have a Ryanair account? If so, click on the 'myRyanair-portal' in the top right-hand corner and log in using your details. 
   • Don't have a Ryanair account yet? You will need to create one first. Click on ‘Log in’ in the top right-hand corner and create an account. Once your account has been created, you can log in and add your booking via ‘Find your booking’. Enter your PNR number and the email address used to book your holiday. 

3. Once you are logged in, click on 'Manage booking'

4. Scroll down to 'Manage extras' and click on 'Add seats'

5. Follow the seat reservation steps and complete the payment directly with Ryanair.

Of course, reserving a seat is not mandatory. Please note, however, that if you do not reserve seats, Ryanair cannot guarantee that your entire travel party will be seated together on the flight.

 Good to know

• If you are travelling with children, Ryanair applies mandatory seat allocation. One adult will automatically be seated next to the children. If you are travelling with multiple adults and would like to sit together, the remaining adults can reserve seats for an additional fee.
• Seat reservations are handled by Ryanair. Sunweb has no influence on this. If you have any questions about your seat reservation, we kindly refer you to Ryanair.
• Seat reservation is a service provided by Ryanair. If you have reserved seats, this will not be shown on your Sunweb vouchers or invoice. You will receive a separate confirmation from Ryanair.
